Avon Healthcare Limited (Avon HMO) and Avon Medical Practice, healthcare subsidiaries of the Heirs Holdings Group, have announced the return of their flagship event, the Avon Colour Run, on Saturday, 14 November 2026, at Eko Atlantic City, Lagos. The event will bring together individuals, families, fitness enthusiasts and corporate organisations to promote physical activity, preventive healthcare and community wellness.

Running from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., the event will feature a 5 km run, health screenings, fitness activities, games and wellness education. Attendance is free and open to the public.

First held in 2019, the Avon Colour Run returns with a renewed focus on bringing people together through physical activity and health awareness. It highlights the role of regular exercise in preventing and managing chronic conditions such as hypertension and diabetes, and encourages informed health decisions, healthier lifestyle habits and a proactive approach to personal wellbeing.

Commenting on the upcoming event, the Chief Executive Officer of Avon HMO, Osa Imasogie, said: “Good health is built through the choices people make every day, long before they need care. The Avon Colour Run is our way of making those choices easier and more enjoyable, by getting people moving, giving them access to health information and reminding them that staying well is a shared effort.”

The Chief Executive Officer of Avon Medical Practice, Dr Akinbiyi Oke, added: “Many of the conditions we see in our hospital, such as hypertension and diabetes, can be prevented or better managed with regular activity and early screening. The Colour Run brings that message out of the clinic and into the community, and we look forward to welcoming families, friends and colleagues to Eko Atlantic City.”

Participants can register for free at https://avoncolourrun.com/ before the deadline on Saturday, 7 November 2026.
