Masculinity shouldn’t prevent you from paying attention to your nails. Dirty, scraggly nails can be a powerful negative distraction. On the other hand, keeping your nails healthy and neat will always work in your favour.
To maintain your nails, first, pick up a well-made manicure kit for men. Clip your nails so a slim border of white is showing, and file the rough edges. Use the point of the small metal file to clean under the edges of your nails as well.
4. Not paying attention to body ‘scent’
Body odour is a tough one because most of us don’t perceive our own scent the way others do. First, start by asking a close friend or partner to help you identify if you need to make a change.
Here are some tips to help combat off-putting smells:
- Don’t use cologne as a shortcut.
- Use deodorant.
- Don’t repeat clothes you’ve already worn without washing them.
- Dress for the weather.
5. Not Understanding Your Overall Body System
The best grooming rituals won’t guarantee healthier skin, hair, and teeth. An unbalanced diet, dehydration, no exercise, and stress will speed up your body’s ageing process.
Apart from regular grooming rituals, pay attention to these important factors:
- Diet
- Hydration
- Stress reduction
- Sleep
- Exercise
- Kick toxic addictions like smoking, drugs, and excessive alcohol consumption.
So, guys, it’s possible to look 5-10 years younger & healthier despite your hectic daily routine. All you need to do is to pay attention to the tips above and stop making these common grooming mistakes forever.
