We are Nigeria’s most trusted HMO since 2013.

We are a subsidiary of the Heirs Holdings Group duly registered by the regulatory authority (NHIS) to operate as a national HMO in October 2012 but commenced operations in 2013.
Whether you’re an Individual, a Family, an Association or Corporate Organisation, our health plans have been created to give you access to quality healthcare services whenever you need it.
Once you are subscribed to our health plans and you fall ill, suffer an accident, or are diagnosed with a health condition, Avon HMO steps in to coordinate your care and pay the bills; ensuring and overseeing the delivery of quality healthcare services that will enable you to get better.
We also offer on-site health risk assessment, occupational health management and employee well-being services, which go a long way in maintaining a healthy and productive workforce.

Our Milestones
Some of our achievements since 2013
2013 - 2014
Licensed as a National HMO in 2012, commenced operations in 2013. Launched corporate health plans in 2014 to meet the diverse needs of our clients.
2015 - 2016
Commenced our digital transformation journey and upgraded our 24/7 contact center infrastructure. Became the first HMO in Nigeria to launch retail health plans for the mass market and the first HMO to enable Nigerians purchase health plans online.
2019
Listed among Companies to Inspire Africa by the London Stock Exchange Group. Won the ‘Best Company to Work in Africa’ (small corporate category) and Best Workplace for Millennial Generation at the Great Place to Work Awards.
2020 - 2022
Expanded our portfolio with local and international modular plans that can be combined to achieve optimum coverage. Established a national footprint with full-fledged offices in Kano, Kaduna, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Abia and Ibadan.
